Tal Peleg's Eye Makeup Art

The Princess and the Pea

Heisenberg from Breaking Bad

Anne Frank

The Moomins are (I've just learned) the central characters in a series of Swedish comics and cartoons. Here's the English dubbed version of the opening sequence of one of those cartoons.

A Dr. Seuss theme

Tal Peleg, an Israeli makeup artist, works in the full range of opportunities that her craft affords. But her eye makeup works are my favorites. Did you notice the contact lens used for the Princess and the Pea piece? That was clever!

I wasn't sure if the first comic Moomintroll and the End of the World (1947) came before the first book The Moomins and the Great Flood (1945). Of course the first drawing of a moomin was in 1923 on a outhouse wall. And the first published comics were in 1943 in a magazine called Garm.

Too pedantic? definitely.
