There are a lot of clever Christmas displays out there this time of year, but it's still hard to find a Christmas tree this fantastic anywhere in America. You can find this giant salamander tree at the Kyoto Aquarium in Japan. The aquarium is known for weird promotions. In fact, they are the ones who made the fish hot dog back in August. The plush salamanders come in a variety of sizes, so the tree is actually a great way to demonstrate the great items by arranging them large to small.

Of course - Salamanders! How could I have been so blind?

Thank you for explaining what the hell it is we're looking at. The tree components and their red-scarved companions look like pale, fuzzy turds. The...whatever the hell it is...in the left background looks like Chewbacca dry-humping that column. My kind of aquarium! Where's Troy McClure when you need him?
