In her series Cinematography, Tokyo-born artist Maiko Takeda uses something unusual as fashion adornment: shadows.

Cinematography collection questions whether shadows can be transformed into material that adorns the body. When the light shines through each piece, a photograph-like image appears and follows the silhouette of the skin. Shadow is ephemeral yet remains the main part of the work.
