815 here, I didn't know we were neighbors! That is one of the funny things about internet citizenship... geography is irrelevant both for good and for ill. I also miss the fraternity of neighborhood vicinity.
Back when everyone had land lines, you used to be able to tell the general area where someone lived by what their phone number was. Their whole phone number, not just the area code. Personally, I rather lament the demise of phone-number geography.
