Pendulums of different lengths display various waves. Very simple, yet hypnotic. Where can you buy something like this? -via reddit

I spent a week in a little town in Idaho last year on vacation. They had a fiberglass Paul Bunyan in front of the school. According to Wikipedia, it was one of the Texaco "Big Friends" that was later modified.
Albuquerque still has one. He has been painted over many times, and the property has changed just as many times. The place he sits used to be a lumber company. He started out as a lumberjack, but then was destroyed by a fire. The owner replaced him with a chef body. Then remodeled as the lumberjack. Back in (I think) April, he lost his arms and ax in a storm.
Back in the heyday of smaller amusement parks, our local park, Crystal Beach Amusement Park (in Crystal Beach, Ontario, Canada) had a Paul Bunyan that all kids, young and old, loved to come see. http://imgur.com/vlkpCLS
In 1966 I worked in a Phillips66 gas station in Brockton, MA and we had one that was dressed in our uniform and held two tires. It really helped sales. Serval Phillips stations had them.
