This Cake Looks Too Good To Eat

These days, cake artists can look to painters and illustrators for inspiration, creating otherworldly cake creations that make you second guess cutting them up and eating them. This artwork cake by Dante Nuno of Fire and Icing is far too pretty to eat in my opinion!

Inspired by the painting "Descent" by Ray Caesar, this lovely lady has a squidly dress and trident, and stands astride an antique looking clock like a statue on a pedestal. Hit the link to see the painting which inspired this delicious work of art. What do you think, would you tear into this cake or attempt to preserve it for posterity?

From someone who used to make complicated cakes and fancy-schmancy pastries: Cake = yummy goodness. Eat it!!!

If someone's too lazy to make their own fondant it DOES taste like plastic but if you make it from scratch it's tasty. A bit sweet mind you but tasty nevertheless.

I used to LOVE Apple Jacks

Like every cereal company, they cut back on sugar and people quit buying them. Just like Coke & Pepsi won't listen to the customers that don't want corn syrup in their soft drink.

Qwisp and Quake were the same cereal. General Mills introduced them at the same time, and created a rivalry between the two characters - then made kids vote on who would win. Qwisp won.
