YouTube user JoergSprave makes fancy slingshots. He was challenged by fans to create one that could fire a machete, and the result is something like a crossbow. "What is it good for? Nothing except attracting people's attention on YouTube." That's a perfectly fine reason.

Instead of raising the machete handle over the block, wouldn't it make more sense and be a lot safer if you lowered the block so the machete accelerates along the beam?

Didn't I see a bigger burger about 5 or 10 pages ago? It had a crown on it. It definitely looked bigger....
