why can't people write realistic dialogue?

it's not hard...i spout off a ton of realistic sounding conversational dialogue ever single day.

Not all of them were films. And not all used the line, they just made reference to Kansas.

Miss Cellania, my bad, I was thinking about the concept rather than the phrase. The phrase does seem to have been originated from the 1939 film. I was wrong.
