Kings Firecrackers: Now THIS is Jumping Rope

[YouTube - Link]
Holy moley. I remember jumping rope as a kid, and always thought I was pretty good; heck, I could get through most of the Alphabet (eg: A my name is Alli, etc.). Boy, was I wrong. These young ladies make Double Dutch look like sleep walking.

The Kings Firecrackers are a group of elementary and Jr High school girls from Kings Local School District in Ohio who, besides doing their school work and keeping their grades up, practice for 5 days a week, 2 hrs a day jumping rope. And it pays off; they've been on Late Night With David Letterman, in the Macy's Day parade, at one of Bush's inaugurations as well as in American Girl magazine.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to take a nap. Just watching them has me exhausted. If you're not too wiped out, you can take a peek at their blog: Link

I think I have probably watched these adorable and incredibility talented girls at least 100 times. They never cease to bring a smile to my face. They so much remind me of my grand-daughters. Lynn Kelly deserves top honors for the awesome job she has done training these young ladies.I have reccommended many friends to watch their videos, and several gentlemen said that they should be the half-time entertainment for Super-Bowl.

What an incredible amount of time and effort that must go into this. Congrats to Lynn Kelly for a superb accomplishment. You've really moulded these girls into something impressive. Such fun to watch. I wonder how long this group has been in existence???

Wow! My knees hurt just watching the first segment. That is incredible timing and team work. I'm not big at all into that sort of thing, but that was very impressive. Entertaining as well.
