A motorcycle with one wheel? No, it just looks that way. The Uno has two wheels, side by side. It runs on electricity and is controlled by body language. The only controls are an on-off switch. To go forward, you lean forward. Lean further to go faster. The Uno was invented by 18-year-old Ben J. Poss Gulak. Motorcycle Mojo has the story of how the Canadian engineering prodigy built the prototype Uno. http://www.motorcyclemojo.com/articles/the-uno/

This looks a little too much like a Segway with some body mods and add ons.

It's direct-drive electric, no need for a transmission. Probably tops out around 30-35mph (capped for safety reasons I'd suspect). Unlike a segway though, you look cool riding it and would be much more aerodynamic.

it could have a continuously variable transmission. as rpms increase, roller weights/pullies expand through centrifugal force and cause the gear ratio to change. since the setup uses a belt with no fixed ratio, it is considered a single speed tranny. Not sure if it applies to this vehicle, but it's very common on 50cc mopeds and scooters.
