After a leopard in the bed and a cheetah in the car, wouldn’t you rather be lion in the bathtub? This image of a circus lion getting a wash was found at Wisconsin History. Link

Otherwise, yes, my cats have sharp nails and teeth, are domestic animals and yet manage to scrath and bite bad. However tame, lion = wild animal. One bite and you're out.
I didn't think lions needed bath either...
And were that lion "totally willbroken" there would be no need for the bars behind it.
Lion taming may be boorish and 19th century in mindset, but it is also very dangerous. If you have a cat, you also know how hard they are to tame. It's not easy to convince a 500 pound angry fur ball that it shouldn't kill you.
Wow, that was like an utterance out of no other enterprise, except maybe NASA.
Neat necklace, for the Borders crowd.
I see you've never met a model who's had to work with a professional photographer before. Let’s see, she's probably been standing out there in the drab weather for an hour waiting for the guy to set up, then wait because the light just isn't right, then reorganise the position of her necklaces because the previous set up just didn't look right, along with the possibility it could have been her time of the month.
You're a hoot. I'll chuckle all morning now. Thanks!
