Urban Safari

In Wildlife, artist Karolina Sobecka uses the city itself as her medium. At night, projections from moving cars (driven by the San Jose Tiger Posse) are shone on the buildings downtown. Each car projects a video of a wild animal. The animal’s movements are programmed to correspond to the speed of the car: as the car moves, the animal runs along, speeding up and slowing down with the car. As the car stops, the animal stops also, in the manner of a real moving animal. To see this artwork in action, hit play or go to YouTube.
Its part of the Animal Safari today at Miss Cellania.

i saw them make a bed like this for a little girl on extreme makeover: home edition. it seems like it would be really cool to sleep on, except for when you're sick.

They look comfortable and all.. but I can't imagine having one for daily use.

It's gotta be hard to make the bed. Not to mention making whoopie. :P

First I saw this thing in a magazine at the doctors office. Checked out the web page and was shocked at the price, $2800. WOW. So I went to work and built one for my self. Well it's for my daughter. For about $600, Custom 3 inch thick mattress, It's an 6 foot octagon shape with 6 ropes teathered to the celing. I have to say it's the most comfortable thing to sleap on. She says that she doesn't want any other bed and its been 5 years.
